Designed for precision and efficiency, the Three Snow matcha strainer (chakoshi 茶漉し) is thoughtfully crafted to perfectly fit standard matcha bowls. With a handle and support hook, it rests securely on the bowl, allowing hands-free sifting. Its compact size and fine 30-mesh screen make it ideal for matcha and small servings of loose-leaf tea.

The mesh features a special “Kona Tsukaazu” surface treatment, creating microscopic peaks (~80,000 per mm²) that prevent powder from sticking. This allows matcha to pass through twice as fast as standard strainers, cutting sifting time in half while maintaining a smooth, clump-free powder.

Developed by Three Snow and made by Shinetsu Works in Tsubame City, Niigata, Japan, this sifter combines exceptional craftsmanship, durability, and aesthetic refinement - perfect for tea professionals and enthusiasts.
